The 2018 edition of the African Handball championship has been won by Tunisia.
They beat Egypt 26-24 in the final that was played on 27 January 2018.
Tunisia are now 10 time holders of the African championship, which makes them the team with the highest titles in the competition.

Despite their defeat, the Egyptians will participate in the 26th Hand-Ball World Championships in Denmark and Germany next year.
Host nation Gabon, took the 5th place during the tournament , recording its best performance in Gabonese handball history.
